Unsubscribe

Put in the email address you want removed. This sends a removal request to a person, who processes it by hand. It covers every message about the Revenue Room and anything that follows it.

What happens next

The request goes to a person, not to a queue, and this page does not change anything in our database by itself. That is deliberate: anyone can type any address here, so letting the page act on its own would let anyone unsubscribe anyone.

Which means, plainly: until it is processed, our system still has that address as subscribed, and an already scheduled email could still arrive. US law allows up to ten business days to complete a removal. In practice it is done the day it is read.

If you have one of our emails in front of you, use it instead. Its footer carries a personal unsubscribe link that removes you on the spot, automatically, with no waiting. Gmail and Outlook also show their own unsubscribe button at the top of our messages, which does the same thing.

What this page collects

The address you type, and one hidden field that stays empty for a real person and catches automated submissions. Loading this page also fetches fonts from Google, so Google sees your IP address and browser, the same as on every page of this site. The Privacy Policy covers all of it.
